Every hacker needs a black (with green lining) hoodie to wear while staring at their matrix screensaver. Be sure to grab yours before 15 September or you are going to miss out (and you won’t be able to Q.Q your way into getting one). Some limited shirts will be for sale at the con, but no hoodies!

We like to keep you in suspense, so you can’t see the merch beforehand. If you like our Hypercard, you will totes dig the merch.

Oh! Hi!

The Kiwicon crüe is back, and now with more diamantes and hexagons. We are trying something different this year and are running a con called Kawaiicon. Those of you who are fans of the classic Kiwicon experience will probably notice some differences, and we hope to see some new fresh faces in the audience this year.

Compared to previous Kiwicons, there are some things that you won’t see this year. So RIP to training, CTF, and the con-labeled beers and sodas. We decided to let these things go this year to save ourselves some sanity and just focus on good ol’ con content and feels.

You might notice a few more little hackers running around again this year. Kuracon was a huge success last year, with MOS and B003y inspiring the masses with their tamper bypass seal workshop. bdg is a glutton for punishment so it is running again this year.

Kawaiicon will be held this year at the Michael Fowler Centre in Wellington, New Zealand. It will be on October 17 and 18 (Thursday and Friday) 2019.

Ticket sales will start soon, and will come in waves. So in the meantime, why don’t you finish that cuppa and get cracking on a CFP submission? d(￣▽￣o)
